Our services
Replacing an old pellet stove improves efficiency, noise levels, comfort, and safety. We also inspect your existing flue to see if it can be reused safely.
After 12 to 15 years, every pellet stove reaches a point where repairs cost more than a replacement. Electronics become outdated, spare parts get scarce, and efficiency drops noticeably. We replace your appliance in just 1 working day. Your old stove is taken away for recycling, the flue is inspected and reused where possible, and your new stove is left fully calibrated and certified.
This keeps your costs down: a usable existing flue easily saves you 900 to 3.000 euros compared to a completely new installation. You do not have to arrange or dispose of anything yourself.
You replace the stove every 12 to 15 years, but the flue only every 25 to 30 years. A smart replacement means you only pay for the appliance.
We check your current setup, calculate the right capacity for your home, and inspect the flue. If your 80 mm pipe is in good condition and correctly installed, we simply connect the new stove to it. We also read the error memory of your old unit, which tells us a lot about how the flue and stove performed together.
We disconnect your old stove and take it with us for proper recycling. We empty the pellet hopper and neatly transfer any remaining pellets to your new appliance. We also leave the surrounding area spotless, from the floor plate to the connection opening.
Your new stove is placed perfectly level, with a gas-tight connection to the flue and air supply. If necessary, we adjust the connection height or the wall passage. This is all included in our fixed price.
We adjust the air and pellet settings to match your flue and your preferred wood pellets. We do a test run and hand over the certificate. You immediately receive instructions on how to use the new control panel, and we will call you during the first week to make sure everything is working to your satisfaction.
The rule of thumb: if a repair costs more than half the price of a new unit, or if it is the second major repair in 2 years, replacement is the better choice. Upgrading a stove built before the 2022 Ecodesign-norm also pays off. Modern stoves achieve higher efficiencies and consume up to 20 percent fewer pellets.
If you are in doubt, we will honestly calculate both scenarios for you via our repair service. Sometimes there is a middle ground: a major service with new wear parts can give your stove another 2 to 3 years, which is just enough time to plan a replacement instead of rushing it.
The new appliance costs 1.500 to 3.500 euros for a quality brand, and the replacement labor is 500 to 950 euros, which includes the removal of your old stove, calibration, and certification. If the existing flue is retained, this is the total price. For homes older than 10 years, a reduced VAT rate of 6 percent applies to the entire bill. A typical replacement, while keeping the existing flue, will land between 2.000 and 4.500 euros, all-inclusive.
If the flue does need to be replaced, you can read about the different scenarios in our price overview for a new flue and check stove prices in what installing a pellet stove costs in Belgium.
Usually, yes. A 316 stainless steel flue lasts 25 to 30 years, twice as long as the stove itself. We inspect it for leaks, correct diameter, and soot build-up before connecting. We always replace the connection seals as a standard procedure when reusing a pipe. This inspection takes 20 to 30 minutes and is included in our advisory visit. If the flue is an older or non-standard type, we can replace it immediately through our flue installation service on the very same working day.
Heating capacity, noise levels, hopper size, and remote control: the differences between modern pellet stoves are found in the details you experience every day. We calculate the required capacity for your home, usually 1 kW per 8 to 10 m² for moderate insulation, and let you listen to the stoves while they operate. Feel free to bring a photo of your living room, so you can immediately see which models fit in terms of style and size. This way, you never choose a stove that is too big or too loud.
If you are replacing your stove, it is best to opt for upgrades that enhance your daily comfort. Think of a larger pellet hopper of 25 to 35 kilograms so you have to refill less often, a silent night mode under 40 decibels, Wi-Fi remote control, and a programmable weekly timer.
If you are unsure which options are worth your money, our advisor will visit your home for free to provide a capacity calculation and an honest comparison of 2 to 3 suitable models.
Every stove we take away is dismantled for recycling. The steel, cast iron, and electronics each go through their own processing. We keep usable spare parts for repairs on the same model for other customers. This ensures your old stove does not end up in a landfill but enters the circular economy, helping to keep repair costs down for everyone.
The new appliance starts with a clean slate. We schedule the first maintenance service after 1 year or 1.500 kilograms of wood pellets, which can be done automatically via a maintenance contract. You can read more about the maintenance schedule in our guide on maintenance frequency.
