The TMC 900 Essential heats a volume up to 250 m³. With a standard ceiling height of 2.5 meters, this roughly corresponds to an area of about 100 m², depending on your home's insulation. Well-insulated homes cover a larger area; older homes slightly less.

Consumption ranges from 0.94 - 2.2 kg/hour. At low power, the stove burns economically to maintain temperature, while at full power, it heats up quickly. With the 17 kg reservoir, you get a long burn time before needing to refill, depending on the setting.

The stove comes with a remote control and has a built-in programmable thermostat. Wi-Fi/app control is not available on this model; if desired, consider a model from the 810 or 900 series with Wi-Fi.

A flue of Ø80 mm in stainless steel, extending above the roof ridge. The outlet is standard at the rear (some models also have a top outlet). Always have the installation done by a certified installer according to the NBN B 61-002 standard.

Maintain a guideline of at least 20 cm at the rear, about 30 cm at the sides, and 100 cm at the front to combustible materials. Exact distances can be found in the installation manual; your installer will determine the final placement.

Clean the burner pot and ashtray briefly daily to every few days (a few minutes). A professional maintenance service is needed once a year, including chimney sweeping. TMC stoves typically give a maintenance alert after about 1800 operating hours. Expect annual maintenance costs of €120 to €180.

Use certified wood pellets of Ø6 mm (ENplus A1). Quality pellets with low ash content ensure cleaner combustion, less maintenance, and a clearer glass view.
