Rosina Portas Pellets per 15 kg bag

A single bag is the smallest quantity we offer, and the most convenient way to discover a new brand. Rosina Pellets are ENplus A1 certified softwood pellets (pinus), pressed from shavings from their own wood processing, without chemical additives or binders.

From door factory to wood pellet

Rosina has been manufacturing doors and wood profiles since 1989 in Rio dos Cedros, Santa Catarina, Brazil: the heart of the country's largest pinus reforestation. Planing and milling all that timber generates pure wood shavings every day, and that exact residual stream is pressed into pellets in their own plant. No extra trees are harvested for these pellets: it uses wood that was already processed, preventing waste.

Production is fully automated and completely free of chemical additives, starch or binders. The granules are held together solely by the natural lignin in the wood. What you pour into your stove is simply 100% compressed softwood.

How long does one bag of pellets last?

A pellet stove burns roughly 1 to 2 kg per hour, depending on the heat setting, stove output and home insulation. A single 15 kg bag equals approximately one full heating day on a medium setting, or three to four evenings if you only heat at night. During the coldest weeks, most households use about one bag a day.

When should you buy pellets by the bag?

You might want to test Rosina Portas Pellets in your stove before purchasing a full pallet, as every stove reacts differently to a new pellet brand. Perhaps winter is ending and you just need a few more days, or you only burn occasionally for atmosphere. In all these cases, buying individual bags is the most logical choice.

Storage and handling

A 15 kg bag is easy to lift and fits in any utility room, garage or under the stairs. Store bags dry and off the ground, for example on a shelf or empty pallet. Wood pellets absorb moisture: when wet, they swell, crumble and jam the stove auger. Transfer any torn bag into a sealed bucket or container.

Single bag or a full pallet?

Buying single bags carries a higher price per kilo due to individual handling. For half a winter or limited storage, check out the Rosina Pellets half pallet with 33 bags. If you burn all season, the Rosina Pellets full pallet with 65 bags offers the lowest price per bag.

Why choose Rosina Portas Pellets

With just one bag, you will immediately notice the quality: uniform pellets, minimal dust and a steady flame. Rosina Pellets are ENplus A1 certified pine pellets offering high calorific value, low ash output and a mechanical durability of at least 98%, minimizing dust during transport.

ENplus A1 is an audited quality standard: it strictly limits ash, moisture content, density and fine dust, guaranteeing full traceability. For you, it is the easiest guarantee that what goes into your stove matches the packaging description.
