Wood insert La Nordica Inserto 70.165 – 7.8 kW

The La Nordica Inserto 70.165 is a ventilated wood-burning insert designed specifically to replace an existing open fireplace and turn it into an efficient, closed heat source. The firebox is lined with Nordiker, La Nordica-Extraflame's patented refractory material, which guarantees a high combustion temperature and great flame clarity. With 7.8 kW of output it heats volumes up to 224 m³ at an efficiency of 77% (67% seasonal efficiency, energy class A).

Where a classic open hearth loses most of its heat up the chimney, this insert uses the energy far more efficiently. The structure and door are made of cast iron, with a ceramic-glass door for a wide view of the fire. Two tangential fans with speed controller distribute the warm air quickly and evenly. The Inserto 70.165 is entirely Made in Italy and weighs 142 kg. Installation is carried out by an approved installer in accordance with the Belgian standard NBN B 61-002 (in the Netherlands to the applicable standards), on a Ø160 mm flue that discharges above the roof ridge.
